View our week-end specials at: http://www.riperestaurant.com/page/page/4421931.htm Kuhl Riesling, 2005 Mosel-Saar Ruwer, Germany This wine won us over after just one sip with the Curried Shrimp on our menu. “Kuhl" is the German word meaning "cool." Just a drop of this Riesling will "kühl" you down on a balmy evening as the sun sets, and "kühl" the fire on your palate after a spicy curried goat, or Jerk Chicken. With its increasing popularity, Riesling is overall a cool wine to drink anytime of the year, at any occasion and with any cuisine you choose. Even non-wine drinkers are beginning to discover this gem, and how well its marries with Caribbean cuisine in particular. Sit back and relax with a glass of kühl riesling. Vineyards This wine comes to you from the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region of Germany. Tasting Notes This Kabinett has an intense golden color. Scents of flowers and citrus on the nose are followed by crisp flavors of lime, honey and slate all balanced out by a bright acidity and lingering finish full of fruit and stone.
